Below you will find answers to some common questions about calligraphy. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please contact me.

Can you match "X" color?

Most colors can be custom mixed for pointed pen scripts to match your stationery. Metallic colors can be more challenging to get an exact match, but usually, a nice match can be made. Custom colors incur an additional $20 fee for color matching.

Can you accommodate a rush order?

As time allows in my production schedule I can accommodate some rush orders. Please understand that even rush orders generally take at least one week to complete. Please note that any order with a start date of less than 4 weeks in advance is considered a rush order and will be charged a 30% rush fee based on the amount of the entire order.

The time to complete calligraphy will depend on the quantity and type of calligraphy to complete. Approximately 60 envelopes can be completed in one week with address and return address. Approximately 100 place cards or escort cards can be completed in one week. Please note that these time frames may change based on other on-going projects and only include writing time.

Additional services such as assembly, sealing, stamping and mailing envelopes adds additional time to project completion.

Rush orders are subject to the time available in our production schedule and are dependent on having a complete guest or address list to begin writing. When a complete list is not available it may shift the timeline and can increase production time.

Can you assemble, seal and stamp my envelopes?

Yes! Please note that this will add time to the production schedule which is mainly based on writing time. Assembly, sealing and stamping begins at $2 per set.

Can you mail my envelopes?

Yes. To mail your envelopes, you can have postage shipped to me with your inserts (invitations, etc.) and any additional pieces. Fees for assembling, sealing and stamping invitation sets begins at $2. Fees for mailing envelopes will be based on the distance to the post office requested.
